During the 24th International Chromium Nickel Stainless Steel New Energy Summit Forum held from September 13th to September 15th, foreign companies such as Russia's MIDURAL Group, Turkey's Alecaia AG Group, and South Africa's AMG Group visited Jiangsu Foreign Trade to explore and expand their export business of chrome and manganese ore to China. Lucas, the General Manager of Alecaia AG Group in Turkey, and Wu Wenhai, the Chairman of Runtianlong International Trade Co., Ltd., visited Jiangsu Foreign Trade on September 14th. They had a productive discussion with Zhang Qiang, the Deputy General Manager of JSFT.
At the meeting, Zhang Qiang warmly welcomed Lucas and Wu Wenhai's visit. He emphasized that Turkey boasts the largest chromite ore production in the Eurasian continent, thanks to its unique geological conditions. Alecaia AG Group, a renowned chromite ore supplier in Turkey, possesses abundant mining resources and strong port transportation capabilities in the local area. Since 2010, Runtianlong International Trade Co., Ltd. has been importing chromite ore and has gained rich experience in related businesses such as chromite iron plant ingredients and logistics. Under the Belt and Road Initiative, JSFT and Alecaia AG Group will enhance communication and expand mining cooperation. They will utilize Turkey's overseas warehouses as the primary source of goods to provide high-quality supply to domestic end-users. Runtianlong International Trade Co., Ltd. has access to strong domestic-owned and cooperative factory resources, which will bring more stability to the development of chromite ore for JSFT.

From January to August 2023, JSFT’s import volume of chromium and manganese ores has increased by approximately 60% compared to the same period last year, ranking first in the province in terms of total operation.
