COSCO SHIPPING Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd discuss and exchange with SOHO and JSFT

On the morning of December 14th, Chairman Zhou Yong of SOHO  met with Jiang Kai, General Manager of COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd., and his delegation. Both parties exchanged ideas on deepening cooperation in multiple areas. Vice President Li Ming of the Group, as well as Jin Qi and Qi Jun, Deputy General Managers of COSCO Shipping Logistics Shanghai Region, participated in the discussion.

 

Zhou Yong expressed sincere welcome to Jiang Kai and his delegation, and briefly introduced the reorganization and integration of the Group. He stated that the provincial government and the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission have assigned a new strategic positioning and development goals to the newly restructured SOHO. The Group is now focusing on the new mission, emphasizing core functions such as strategic material reserves, and continuously exploring new patterns for development. Over the years, COSCO Shipping Logistics has been highly supportive of the Group's business, collaborating with multiple subsidiaries of the Group in areas such as equity investment and business operations, making it an important partner. Based on traditional modes of cooperation, the Group will establish a dedicated working team and sign a strategic cooperation agreement with COSCO Shipping Logistics. By combining the new developments of COSCO Shipping Logistics with the new requirements of the provincial government for SOHO, the Group aims to achieve a comprehensive upgrade in cooperation through deep integration in areas such as China-Europe freight train operations, overseas warehouse operations, and digital transformation.

Jiang Kai expressed gratitude for the warm reception from SOHO and conducted in-depth discussions surrounding the development needs of both parties' businesses. He mentioned that SOHO and COSCO Shipping Logistics have always enjoyed good cooperation, and there will be greater opportunities for collaboration following the reorganization and integration. He hoped that both parties could capitalize on the new situation and changes, enhance the breadth and depth of resource integration, fully leverage the platform functions of the jointly established supply chain company, and construct an integrated ‘trade-transport’ ecosystem that integrates trade flows, capital flows, logistics, and information flows, thereby elevating their cooperation to a new level.

 

In the afternoon, Mao Qiang, General Manager of the Marketing Collaboration Center of COSCO Shipping Logistics Supply Chain Co., Ltd. Shanghai Region, and his delegation visited JSFT. Zhang Qiang, Deputy General Manager of JSFT, engaged in deep discussions with Mao Qiang and his team on topics such as overseas warehouse construction, domestic self-managed warehouse operations, and intelligent transformation and digital transformation. Both parties will leverage their respective advantages in industrial fields and promote their cooperation to a new level through resource integration and industrial linkage.

Representatives from the Cargo Property Management Center and Jiangsu Overseas Corporation (SA)(PTY)LTD, as well as Nanjing COSCO Shipping Logistics, also participated in the discussion and exchange.
